I SWEAR IM NOT A RATTI on the gravel in front of the Fondazione Ratti. The day before this exhibition we visited the Ratti factory where luxury textiles for the most famous clothing brands are made. There we saw people work in the factory to produce the wealth that funds the foundation we were enjoying. It was a strange position to be in and I wanted to let the world know that I am in fact not a RAT(TI). That I will not betray where I come from and what I will return to after this residency in which luxury became the norm in some ways. Ratti also translates to rat/mouse.
